Jessica is a Shiatsu practitioner based in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. She also works at Neals Yard Remedies Therapy Rooms in Bristol. Clients range from babies (in her baby massage classes), teens and pregnant mums to busy professionals and retired people. Shiatsu is an increasingly popular Japanese energetic healing technique. Probably unique in its ability to not just ease specific problems, Shiatsu also enables the receiver to feel more themselves, more grounded. Some clients describe this as feeling “ironed out” and are surprised that they feel both “energised and relaxed” after a treatment. “The more I work in Shiatsu the more I sense that much of the pain we believe to be physical is more often emotional, mental or spiritual. Indeed our stress-filled world makes us more familiar perhaps with pain and sorrow than delight. One of the most powerful impressions I have experienced with Shiatsu is the privilege of connecting with the incredible joy, energy and love that radiates from a baby in the womb. That state of happiness is our birthright and the indicator of true health. My aim is to work towards restoring that sense of freedom, lightness and joy in my clients.” To find out more about her practice and how Shiatsu could benefit you, read on….
